The Power of Christ in the Home

Come gain insights and timeless truths from what the Bible says about parenting during this special exhibit at the Billy Graham Library. With emphasis on the Christ-centered home Frank and Morrow Graham created for their son Billy and his three siblings, mothers and fathers of any age will discover invaluable wisdom and practical examples for today’s family.

Billy Graham’s father, Frank Graham, was a Charlotte dairy farmer known for his integrity and sense of humor. His strong work ethic led his household through hard economic times. Mother Graham, perhaps best described by Billy with Jesus’ illustration of “a hen gathering her brood under her wings,” regularly brought the family together for Bible stories and times of prayer.

In addition to highlighting the godly principles that defined the Grahams’ parenting, this exhibit will give you the chance to explore devotional materials Mother Graham used with her kids, Frank’s Bible, personal notes, rare photos, and other family memorabilia. You’ll also see the power Christ can have in your home as you discover insights from other members of the Graham team and guidance from God’s Word for parents today.
