September 2012 | Ambassador to World Leaders

These are items which are not displayed in our permanent exhibit but are offered here for online viewing.

Have you wondered how a humble dairy farmer's son became an Ambassador to leaders from all over the world? This month we are using photos and documents to display how God used Billy Graham to minister to all the US Presidents since World War II. Billy Graham explained his ministry this way, "When a president of the United States wept in my presence, or knelt to pray or privately unburdened his concerns about his family, I was not thinking about his political philosophy or his personality, but about his need for God's help."

With every opportunity made available to him, Mr. Graham encouraged these powerful yet human figures as, well as their families, through biblical counsel, prayer, compassion and a servant's heart.

Billy Graham: God's Ambassador to World Leaders Special Exhibit is now on display through October at the Billy Graham Library.

Below you can view several of the photographs from this collection.
